Foxdown Manor Cottages
Bideford, Devon
£200.00 per week (Low season)
£1400.00 per week (High season)
Set deep in the heart of the beautiful North Devon countryside, one of the areas of England that has officially been designated as unspoilt. Only a few miles from the North Devon coastline with its breathtaking scenery, beaches, coastal walks and popular family attractions such as the Milky Way, the Big Sheet and the Tarka Trail. The cottages are situated in the 12 acre grounds of an elegant Victorian Manor House. The cottages were originally the stables, the dairy, the bakery and the smithy. The Byre, as its name suggests was the old cowshed. Most of our cottages take their names from famous mariners, many of whom were local and who often sailed from Bideford during its heyday when it was one of the major ports in England. In the grounds of the Manor House, as well as the stream, gardens and woods there is also a hard tennis court, a heated swimming pool (July/August) weather permitting and a sauna (for which there is a small charge). All cottages include bed linen, electricity, heating, colour TV with Freeview and DVD player.
Pet Policy
There is a small charge for dogs/cats (£30 per week), although we do ask that for the benefit of all holiday makers you keep your dogs/cats under control around the cottages and owners clean up after their dogs/cats.
